Vermilion Garden, the lead single from my debut EP, conveys exactly what the title implies. This track draws on themes of nature and specifically the flowers in nature. This past summer of 2020 I was able to go on many walks around Missoula and gawk at all the beautiful gardens Missoulians cultivate and those images are what were running through my mind as I wrote the bass and synth lines for this song.

I gotta give a huge thanks to one of my closest friends William Kelly for creating the cover art for this single. At the absolute last minute I called him up and asked if he could create something for this song in 24 hours and what he came up with was exactly what I was looking for. If you ever need your skis painted hit him up.

I don't know exactly what kind of genre you could call my music, but I would say it's a mixture of electronic and trip hop with bits of vaporwave and psych rock mixed in.
